Hoagy's 1000 Miles for Appalachian Outreach, Inc.
Hoagy will be riding 1000 miles on June 7th, starting at 2 A.M.to help Appalachian Outreach, Inc. raise pledges for their Organization.
This is not an official Hoagy's Heroes, Inc. ride, so please do not make any pledges through our PAYPAL web site, but here is a link to Appalachian Outreach, Inc's PAYPAL page where if you would like you can pledge a donation for Hoagy's 1000 Miles for Appalachian Outreach, Inc.

This ride will be supporting Appalachian Outreach's second annual Country-Bluegrass Jamboree, an AOI benefit event, on Sunday, June 7, from noon to 8pm at St. Jude Park in Glen Dale. Musical acts will include Karen McKenzie with Denny Pasz Band, Sweet Accord, and Cabin Fever String Band. Dinner cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children under 12. Tickets will be available at the door. Hoagy will be showing up before the festivities are finished for the day (as long as everything goes as planned).
Raffle tickets are available for a 40” flat-screen TV donated by Bordas & Bordas and a GPS unit donated by Town & Country Animal Clinic. Also for raffle: a queen-sized homemade comforter donated by Annie Owens, our contact person from Ritchie County.
There’ll be plenty of Bar-B-Q chicken, a bake sale, and fun activities for the kids! We have also booked the regional life flight helicopter for viewing (depending on availability). So bring the whole family for a fun-filled day!
